Dr David Kay

David is passionate about the outdoors. This love for sport, being a father, gardening, fishing, diving and LIVING are reflected in his approach to work. He just has to be having fun to survive! He has made it his business to understand and care for low back and disc related injuries.

David Graduated from the New Zealand College of Chiropractic after 7 full time years of study in anatomy, physiology, genetics, biomechanics, management and chiropractic technique. Between his science degree in Sydney and Chiropractic degree in Auckland, David traveled through Rural New South Wales and Victoria with a telecommunications contractor.
“60-80 Hr weeks with at least 40 Hrs swinging a crow bar or shovel! Despite being as fit as ever, my back was in agony!”

DaveDavid then met Sheridan, now his wife who introduced him to Chiropractic. “Sheri’s love for what she did and the effectiveness of regular chiropractic care inspired me to pack up everything and move to New Zealand”. He is now one of four chiropractors in his family and both his uncle and father are medical doctors.

He thrives on challenging cases, getting amazing results.  He was the first practicing chiropractor in Auckland to introduce the “Flexion Distraction Technique ®” to his office, allowing for effective, non-surgical management of low back pain, intervertebral Disc bulges and herniation.
“I was turned on to this technique after being successfully managed by another chiropractor. After having treatments myself, I knew this was the answer for many complicated spine conditions.”
By combining this with other traditional methods of adjusting, he manages to accommodate a wide variety of patients. He regularly attends seminars of neurology, improved techniques and patient care to ensure high personal standards and cutting edge practices.

David’s drive is to prevent, restore and maintain good health through effectively caring for the spine. Chiropractic is the greatest single way to achieve this.

Play well, work well, live well!!!!
